Taking Measurements

It’s a good idea to take all the measurements at once - even those you might think are unnecessary for your style

This approach helps avoid delays if you unexpectedly need to provide a measurement later, when it may not be convenient

PLEASE MEASURE IN CENTIMETRES

You can use the form to fill in your measurements.

Before you begin taking measurements, please tie a piece of string, elastic or ribbon around the natural part of your waist where it curves in (8.29 on video below) and leave it in place until you’re finished.

This is so you know exactly where the waist measurement is when you have to measure down to it from the neck or shoulder, or as a starting point to measure down to the knee or ankle - this way you’re not guessing where the waist line is as you have it marked with the string.

The video below runs in total for approx 15 mins.

It shows exactly how to take measurements on a woman, but taking measurements is basically the same process for everyone, regardless of gender.

The body points are located the same on everyone (ie) the front neck hollow, the back of neck nape, the shoulder points, the waist, the hips - and taking these measurements listed in the form, will cover it all.

You can hover over the bottom of the video while it is playing to locate a place on the time line & you can skip ahead to where you need to be at any time.

To find the following body points :

Front neck hollow point: 1.28 on Video

The Nape of your back of neck: 1.55 on video

The Shoulder Point: 2.17 on video

Waist - 8.29 on video
